Printing Services

I offer custom printing services to professional photographers with creative work who are frustrated with the prints they get from their local lab or who have no options nearby for printing.

Sizes: Anything from 20x24 down to 1x1. I can print with white borders, black borders or borderless.

Papers: I carry Ilford Fiber and RC papers as well as Forte Polywarmtone Fiber as my standards. If you prefer another paper I am open to using it, but may need to mail-order it. The local Denver store's stock is limited, and both B&H and Calumet are a few days away by mail.

Developers: I prefer to use Dektol and Zonal Pro's HQ warmtone developer. Others can be substituted, keeping in mind the mail-order issue.

Toning: I currently offer Selenium and sepia. I hope to add gold-toning soon.

Permanence is an issue I take seriously. There's nothing worse than putting in all the effort of making a great image only to hear from an unhappy client that it turned brown or faded in a year. That's why I prefer to print on fiber paper and why I'm a proponent of mounting prints with corners or linen tape rather than dry-mount adhesive. It's why I also offer the additional longevity-assurance option of selenium toning.
